Introduction to Embroidery

Embroidery is such a beautiful art!

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of hand embroidery along with a brief history of hand embroidery in the West. We will discuss needle differences and thread gauges in the context of planning and executing an embroidery sampler. Learn a variety of stitches and different ways to mark fabric.

We will cover options for hanging your finished piece.

Expect to leave with all the tools you need for your new favorite hobby!
