 Woodworking II: Making a Wooden Box

Measuring Lumber

Summary:

This workshop will introduce people to joinery through making a wooden box with a lid. Participants will be shown how to break down rough lumber, join edges, use router templates as well as saws and chisels to create a wooden box with box joint(finger joint) corners, an inset bottom and a fitted lid. These boxes will then be finished with a hardwax oil.
Participants under the age of 18 must register with a parent/guardian.
